Changing the fundraising mindset in your boardroom can seem daunting. But no organization can sustain its support without its board leading the private fundraising charge. How do you rouse the sleeping giant of support within your board's networks? How can you encourage board members, long dormant, to become confident and effective askers?

Key Takeaways:

  • Apply principles of successful teamwork to nurture a peer culture of board fundraising
  • Identify all their existing fundraising assets to energize the board, including the newest board members, staff knowledge and energy, and even the pool of existing donors
  • Inspire creative and more frequent asking, across many audiences, by connecting mission and program to the urgency of fundraising

This workshop will be presented by Greg Cohen and David McGoy of Cause Effective

Area of Excellence: Fundraising and Resource Development
