Attorneys from Lawyers Alliance for New York will provide a 60-minute overview on what your governance documents need to include due to recent changes in New York’s nonprofit laws, followed by individual, free, 20-minute consultations to review your bylaws and conflict of interest policy. Registration will be at 9 AM, the overview from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, and individual consultations will be from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Space is very limited and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Association members will be given scheduling priority for consultations. Organizations will be notified of their time slot in advance.
